Born 1981

Chris Plunkett is a local Boston-area painter.  His most common influence is derived from surrounding environments within the city.  Chris’ work is inspired by what and where he regularly interacts.  By constructing each scene using carefully placed color and movement, Chris conveys an atmospheric mood that is meant to resonate with the viewer.

Chris earned a Masters Degree in Art Education from BU in 2013, and has taught visual art in Boston Public Schools for over 11 years.  He exhibits his work frequently in and around Boston.  His studio is located in the Dorchester MA.
